End of Summer

Well last weekend Dave and Marilyn (Ryans Parents) and Betty (Ryans grandma) came for a little visit to see how we are suriving here in provo. We were able to go to Temple Square in SLC and hear Music And The Spoken Work with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. It was a lot of fun and that was actually the first time I had ever been in the conference center so it was really exciting. There were lots of tour groups there with old people and foreigners so it was fun to see that too.

We had a great dinner on sunday at our apartment.. Hawiian Haystacks.. mmmmm... matt, angie and the kids came along with tahra and a friend who is a boy... haha... and then Mike and Penny Bergeron came down from upstairs and then of course Ryan and I with Dave, Marilyn and betty. It was a full house but a lot of fun.

On monday we were able to see Ryans Classroom.. we still need to get decorations for it though. Kinda boring right now. He is excited but nervous to start teaching this coming week. He has 6 classes that he will teach, 3 for Health and 3 for Health Occupations. He will have sophmores, juniors and seniors... and hopefully good behaved ones.

We also went up to Snow Bird, a Ski Resort that does summer activities in the canyon and were able to do some fun stuff there. THey had a Zip line that we went down, and alpine slide and we went on a tram up to the top of a mountain. Ryan and I also were able to ride the mechanical bull. It was nice just to enjoy the outdoors and the beautiful scenery.

Other than that we are just enjoying what time we have left before school starts. Next weekend we are going back up to Lava Hot Springs with 3 other couples to camp and have fun. We are having dinner tonight with all of them to plan all the activities we are going to do so that shoudl be fun. Everyone have a fun week and enjoy the rest of your summer!
